On Wednesday at the School Board Meeting, our friends from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College presented the district with a Dual Credit Excellence Award!
The Platteville School District received this honor for our commitment to fostering opportunities for current high school students to complete post-secondary credit through Southwest Tech! In the 2022-23 school year, we offered four programs with 38.5% of high school students participating!
This is an increase of +10.91% over the previous year -- this earned the district SILVER in this category AND a $2,500 monetary award!
We are so appreciate of Southwest Wisconsin Technical College for their ongoing partnership with our Platteville students and the pathway they provide for success!
