Communication at the Platteville School District

Open, honest, and transparent communication is very important at the Platteville School District. Our goal is that all families feel like they have the information they need, when they need it.

Communication Methods

Our district uses a variety of different communication channels to deliver information to our families:

Student Confidentiality

All school communication is delivered to the legal guardian(s) of every student. If you are the legal guardian of a student and are not receiving communication, please reach out to the main office of your student(s)' school.

The Platteville School District is committed to the safety of all students within our schools. With this in mind, we uphold the confidentiality of every student within our communications and strictly follow all state and federal laws that protect student information. This includes, but is not limited to emergency situations, expulsions/suspensions, and cases involving law enforcement.

Attendance Alerts

Each day, when our schools collect attendance, an automated alert will be sent to any student's family members who has been marked absent that morning.
