The public school inter-district open enrollment program gives Wisconsin families the opportunity to apply to a district in which they do not reside. Reasons for doing this include, but are not limited to advancement in education, specialized programs, and opportunities for growth not available to the student within the district they reside.

Any Wisconsin resident in 4K to grade 12 can apply under the qualifications of this program.

The applications for open enrollment are going on now through February 5, 2024, to April 30, 2024, by applying on the Wisconsin of Public Instruction's website. Applications close at 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2024. Late applications cannot be accepted.
