Located in the heart of Southwest Wisconsin, the Platteville School District (PSD) serves just over 1,500 students ranging in grades of PK to 12. Our highly-rated district best serves our students with our 16-1 student/teacher ratio in our high school, middle school, and two elementary schools.
The Platteville School DIstrict mission best states our intent, "To ensure high levels of learning for all in a safe and inclusive learning community; "Every Student. Every Day."
Our students, teachers, staff, administrators, families, volunteers, community members and business leaders collaborate within our district and support one another in our collective pursuit towards academic excellence. Relationships and effective communication are at the core of who we are and why we do what we do.
The students of Platteville School District are part the future and we are preparing them for just that. This includes but is not limited to equipping them with problem solving abilities and digital citizenship skills to address the challenges facing their generation and those that follow.
We are an inclusive learning community with robust choices for student success. As a district, we have chosen to be a leader in student achievement. Our schools lead by example and offer our students the best in high quality core academic and extra-curricular offerings including Advanced Placement (AP) Programs, arts, music, athletics, technology, languages, career preparation, distance learning, and so much more.
