Our Facility Improvement Plan continues to make steady progress at the Activities Complex & Westview Elementary sites! As you make your way through town, we encourage you to drive by and see the progress first-hand!
At the Activities Complex, our partners are busy preparing the site to lay down the artificial turf at the stadium and auxiliary fields. By the end of the month, this portion of the project will be nearly complete. The concession building and ticket booth are taking shape as the masonry walls are already 1/2 complete!
At Westview Elementary School, the parent drop-off/pick-up drive and extended parking lot footprint have been formed. A new drainage system has also been installed in the playground area to better handle excess rain water that previously pooled in low points in that area.
We are looking to the building projects to begin at Platteville High School, Middle School, and Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center which will be breaking ground in the Fall of 2023!
