Operational Referendum

On Wednesday night, October 23, 2024, the Platteville Board of Education adopted two situational budgets for the 2024-25 school year following the release of the estimated Wisconsin State Aid on October 15, 2024. One budget will reflect a successful operating referendum question, which will be voted on by district residents on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and the other budget does not have a successful question.

If the majority of voting results say yes to the district’s operating referendum on November 5, the total Platteville School District property
tax levy amount will decrease from $9,583,899 (2023-24) to $9,546,541 for this year (2024-25).
